Will people in the Uk live shorter lives?


This week the newspapers reported that life expectancy is falling or stalled in the UK for the first time since records began

but what are the facts on this?

However life expectancy is not the same as good health. The ONS also produce data on how long people can expect to live healthy lives. This can vary considerably according to area and socio-economic status

World Weather Information Service- World Meterological Organization has forceasts and mappings
it also has a Tropical Cyclone forecaster website which has recent research and historic tracking data

NOAA administration - has a national hurricane center which maps, analyses and provides information on the hurrican season. There is a focus on the USA but it includes other areas. 


Digital Typhoon tracking maps from the Japanese government covers 1951 onwards and includes some animation.

Relief web has disaster alerts and maps relating to the humanitarian situation and Mangkhut

Philippine Government posted a series of severe weather warnings and situation reports. these include tropical cyclones.
